The waves at Salt Creek for the WSA surf contest were near perfect, making the contest all the more enjoyable. The competitors in the early morning heats had near epic conditions at Salt Creek: shoulder to head-high waves and glass. There were peaks almost everywhere you looked, some of those turning into perfect barrels, and very consistent.
